Shingle Roof, Flat Roof & Skylight Replacement
CITY:
Montauk
DATE:
November 2025
This comprehensive roofing project in Montauk, NY included architectural shingle replacement, flat roof replacement, skylight replacement, and new seamless gutters.
The existing shingles and flat roofing were removed and replaced with GAF Timberline HDZ® Fox Hollow Gray architectural shingles and a GAF Liberty™ White Cap Sheet roofing system on the flat roof areas. Using roofing materials suited to each section of the property provides reliable protection while creating a cohesive finished roof.
The existing skylights were also removed and replaced with new Supreme Skylights featuring copper step flashing. Proper flashing helps create a weather-resistant connection between the skylights and surrounding roofing system and is an important part of preventing water intrusion.
To complete the exterior improvements, the existing gutters and downspouts were replaced with new 6″ white seamless gutters and downspouts, providing effective drainage and a clean finished appearance.
